2000 3-color waterless lithograph, 11″x15″
Waterless lithography—a technique developed by Joseph D’Uva at the University of Iowa. To simplify it best, rather than a gum arabic grease etching and a litho stone, the original art is transfered onto an aluminum litho plate with construction silicon. The technique restricts some detail. However, it does speed up the printing process quite a bit, and allows for much faster editions.
